WINTER STORM IN LATE FALL

A major winter storm hit a large portion of the country this week (14 Dec 08) before the official start of Winter. Temperatures dropped as low as 15 degrees in some higher locaitons. Below are pictures from rural area of Douglas County Oregon, just SW of Roseburg in Lookingglass.




The snow on my car lasted over 10 hours including a trip to work and a trip home. When heading into town to work I was the first car to drive the road so there were no tracks to follow. I was blazing the trail.
